Domanín is a quiet village lying 4 km north of Bzenec in a picturesquely undulated landscape called the Kyjovská Downs. In the surrounding neighborhood there are mainly fields, towards Bzenec there are extended vineyards. The village has 1020 inhabitants. Domanín belongs to the Bzenecko micro-region. The village may impress you with the undulated landscape with fields divided into smaller parcels. One of the sights is a mansion court * with a restaurant and the Church of St. Wenceslau *. The information board stands opposite the mansion court and the bikeway resting place. St. Wenceslau Festival is held towards the end of September, locals wear so called “osvetimansko-domaninsky” folk costume.
