Dražůvky

Mapa

Dražůvky lies in the vale of the Trkmanka Creek about 8 km west of Kyjov. This small village with 272 inhabitants is part of the Ždánicko micro-region and the Babí Lom micro-region. The farmland around has sporadic vineyards, orchards or groves. To the southwest of Dražůvky towards Babí lom top extend smallish woods. Near the Trkmanka, two ponds were built to retain water in the locality. Quite interesting is the defunct hold Vodný kopec * (Soggy Hill) north of the village. In the village there are pieces of minor church architecture. In Dražůvky people wear “hanácko-slovácký” folk costume (i.e. costume with combined features of Haná and Moravian Slovakia regions).
