A tiny village 8 km north of Kyjov situated on the south-western foothill of Hačky mound (346 metres a. s. l.) at the confluence of three small brooks. Labuty’s neighbourhood comprises fields, orchards, vineyards and groves along the brooks. At present, Labuty has 182 inhabitants and belongs to the Podchřibí micro-region. It might seem that there is nothing for tourists to see either in Labuty or in its immediate surroundings but paradoxically this is why it is so attractive. One will not believe that, which makes him come and make sure. Once you are here you find out there are no uninteresting places in the Kyjov region. You may get intrigued by the local old wine cellars or come across a local amateur painter or… but come and get surprised. In Labuty the “northern Kyjov” costume is worn.
