Skoronice is located 5 km to the south-east of Kyjov. It has ca 545 inhabitants and 185 dwelling houses. Surrounding landscape is rather flat. The northern edge of Skoronice is connected with the built-up area of neighbouring Vlkoš. There is the Hruškovice Brook to the west of Skoronice. A larger pine forest growing on sand soils is located to the south-east and south-west of the village. Skoronice is a member of the Nový Dvůr micro-region.
